NREC presents posters at WCRI 2024
The National Research Ethics Committees (NREC) have been active participants of the World Conferences on Research Integrity for years. At the eighth conference, which takes place this week in Athens, they will present three posters.
The first World Conference on Research Integrity (WCRI) took place in Lisbon in 2007. Researchers, educators, publishers and others who work with research integrity gather to exchange experiences, discuss challenges and possible solutions. Many of the conferences have also developed joint statements to contribute to strengthening work on research ethics globally.
A main theme this year is how to safeguard research ethics when research transitions into innovation and politics.
The national research ethics committees (NREC) have participated actively to WCRI for several years. This time they will present three posters on different topics relevant in Norway, and globally:
Co-authorship conflicts in health-related research
Fostering responsible research culture through national guides for institutional self-governance
